Welcome to Evergreen Elementary where our mission is to educate all children in a safe, caring, and challenging environment!

At Evergreen Elementary, we serve approximately 370 students in kindergarten through fifth grade annually. Our school is nestled into the beautiful, rolling country-side of Holmen. We have a variety of age-appropriate outdoor equipment, a nature trail, sledding hills, hand-painted hard surface play areas, and plenty of room for our children to run, play and explore. Evergreen was built in 1979 with a major addition of a kindergarten wing and physical education gym added in 1993. In 2019, our community supported a referendum for a two-stage entry which entailed a remodel of our offices and some classrooms as a part of our commitment to safety and security. 

Children are our priority, and all of our decisions are based on what is best for students. Through community partnerships, we are able to provide resources to families. Children, staff, and families learn together and support one another because we are unable to reach our academic potential if our social-emotional needs are left unmet. Our staff at Evergreen and across the School District of Holmen work in collaborative teams to ensure high expectations for student learning. 

We are very fortunate to be a part of a community that supports our efforts to help all our children achieve success in their lives by providing well-maintained, safe learning environments and a guaranteed and viable curriculum.
