Jump Rope for Heart 2014 wrap up
Evergreen students and families were heart heroes again this year and in a BIG way! We collected $6,825 for the American Heart Association!! This is our new school record. So proud of everyone for taking this event to heart. So many people are affected by heart disease, heart defects, etc.. We are truly making a difference! Thank you!
Jump Rope for Heart!
Every year Evergreen participates in a Jump Rope for Heart event for the American Heart Association. We do our best to collect money donations to help those close to us and in our community who have been affected by heart conditions, heart disease, and stroke. Students will be jumping at a variety of stations on February 13 and 14 during PE classes. Please help us help others and encourage your student to help a heart!
Fall Fitness Walk
On Friday, September, 27, at 8:45 a.m., Evergreen students and staff will be going on a fall fitness walk around the neighborhood. The route is .8 mile. We have invited fall sport athletes from the high school to join us. We would also love to have Evergreen families join us as well! We will meet on the upper playground blacktop at 8:45. Participants will do some exercises to warm-up and head out for the walk. Studies have shown that exercise increases memory and learning so it should be a great day of learning at Evergreen! Please join us!
