Students are required to take either the ACT Test or the SAT Test for acceptance to a four year college or university.  Most two year colleges will accept this test also (although their test may be less expensive).  For a comparison of the ACT and SAT Testing please review the ACT vs. SAT Comparison chart.

Technical Colleges in Wisconsin use the 

Technical Colleges in Minnesota use the ACCUPLACER Test.

For students that will be joining the military, the ASVAB Test will be required.

Be sure to check with the college or university of interest to verify which test they require.
