The first unit of study for 7th grade Social Studies is The 5 Themes of Geography. This unit will take us through most of the first quarter. Below you will find a list of documents and links that will help your child student study,learn, and understand this unit.
The 5 Themes of Geography provides a framework for students to connect with Social Studies issues and provides us with a common language to discuss those issues. We use the acronym MR. HELP to introduce the students to the themes and help them remember those themes as well.
