Sand Lake Elementary School is nestled in the scenic upper Mississippi River Basin with beautiful bluffs guarding the east side and open prairies to the west. The school opened in the fall of 1999 and was designed for a population of 540 students. Presently, Sand Lake Elementary has 20 regular education classrooms in Kindergarten through fifth grade serving approximately 400 students.
