Teacher - Grade 6 Mathematics Email Phone: 608.526.3391
My name is Amy Kratochvill. I teach 6th grade math at Holmen Middle School. I have a passion for teaching math and love to share that passion with my students as we learn and explore how mathematics applies to the real world. My mission is to instill a love of learning in all of my students. Here is a little bit about myself professionally and personally.
I grew up on a farm near Patch Grove, WI. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elem/Middle Level Education with a mathematics minor. This is my third year teaching at Holmen. However, this is my eighteenth year teaching. I taught in the Bangor School District for the fifteen years prior to coming to Holmen.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Adam. He teaches Technology Education in the Bangor School District. We have three amazing children. My son, Parker, is in 10th grade, my son, Preston, is in 8th grade and my daughter, Peyton, is in 6th grade. They keep us very busy with sports, but we try to find time for boating on the river, fishing, and hunting.
I am blessed to teach in such a great school district and be part of an awesome middle school team.
