Welcome to First Grade! My name is Amy Simpson and I have been teaching in the Holmen School District since 2001. I began my teaching career at Viking Elementary where I was a K/1 looping teacher. I then moved to Prairie View in 2009 and have been teaching first grade ever since. I love teaching first grade because this is the age most children begin to read and I love seeing their growth throughout the school year. I am here to meet the needs of all of my students and I hope we can work together to make first grade a wonderful year!!
