Teacher - Grade 6 Science Email Phone: 608.526.3391 Greetings!! I am the House 6M Science teacher. I graduated from a private college (DMLC) with a Bachelor's degree in education. After teaching nine years in a parochial school I became state certified at Viterbo University in December of 2000. In 2001 I was hired by the School District of Holmen. Since then I earned my master's degree through University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse. In 2011 I became a National Board Certified teacher. I live with my husband Gary on a farm outside of Holmen. We have two dogs - Cheyenne (lab/hound cross) and Madison (black lab).We have beef cattle (Angus), sheep and raise crops. Besides our farm animals we also have a llama (Llama) and three donkeys (Donkey, Molly and Maude). I have Buelingos (the cows that look like oreo cookies) We also grow corn, soybeans and hay. For fun I like to take our dogs for walks, work in my garden and work around the farm. I LOVE to be outside!! And during the summer Gary and I spend time with our tractor pulling families almost every weekend all around the state of Wisconsin. Thank you for the opportunity to work with your child! I enjoy watching them expand their Science knowledge as they participate in numerous hands on activities like labs, computer simulations, etc.!!
