DEBRA KORMANN |
Teacher - ESL Email Phone: 608.526.9080 Hello! My name is Mrs. Deb Kormann and I am thrilled to be an Academic Interventionist at Viking Elementary. This is a wonderful place to teach and learn. As I provide math support for students, I strive to create a caring, safe, and engaging learning environment which encourages students to believe in themselves and to do their personal best. I grew up in the Minneapolis/St Paul area, and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Bethel University as well as a Master of Science degree from Minnesota State University. My husband and I live in Winona. I have a lovely drive through the countryside as I make my way to Holmen each day. We are blessed with two children. In the summer I can be found refinishing antique furniture, enjoying a good book, or spending time with family and friends. We also have a Welsh Terrier pup, so I enjoy walking with him around beautiful Lake Winona. I have served in this role at Viking Elementary since 2015. Previously, I have been a classroom teacher for both kindergarten and second grade, as well as an art specialist for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. It is a joy to help students become responsible and independent children who love learning. Mrs. Deb Kormann Academic Interventionist- Viking Elementary 608-526-3316 Ext. 4218 kordeb@holmen.k12.wi.us
