I am the social studies teacher in house 6H. This is my twelfth year teaching and all of them have been spent in sixth grade here at HMS. I love teaching social studies as it gives me lots of opportunities to expand the minds of my students and help them learn to appreciate the world around them. I love the energy and enthusiasm of sixth graders, and it is a lot of fun to help them make the big transition to middle school!

I grew up near Oshkosh but have been in the Coulee Region since my family moved to Westby when I was a sophomore in high school. I went to UW-La Crosse for both my Bachelors and my Masters Degrees, and I absolutely love living in this area. My husband Greg, who also works here at HMS, and I love to do outdoor activities and you can often find us hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, and enjoying opportunities to try new things.
