I grew up in the Holmen/Onalaska area, graduated from Holmen High (class of 2000) and then went on to the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse.  I earned my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics in 2004 and started teaching at my alma mater.  Later I earned my Master's degree in 2008.

At HHS I have taught almost every math class ranging from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus BC.  I enjoy making learning fun and seeking out interesting problems.  One of my proudest moments was giving the graduation speech to the class of 2010.  I truly believe all students can learn math at high levels- especially if they are willing to make mistakes and try, try, try again (when necessary).

Outside of school I love spending time with my family (my husband, 3 boys, and 1 dog).  We are soccer fanatics!  We also enjoy the outdoors:  fishing, swimming, kayaking, and hiking/exploring.
