I am originally from Winona, MN. My family later moved to La Crescent, MN where I graduated high school in 1997. I earned two college degrees from UW-La Crosse - a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Master's degree in Physical Education Teaching. After working as an elementary Physical Education teacher in Sparta, WI for a few years, I decided to stay at home with our three children while providing daycare services for other teachers' children as well.

In 2017, I chose to pursue another teaching license in Special Education, which I earned from Viterbo University. I have been teaching in Holmen since 2018. Currently, at Holmen High School, I am a 9th/10th-grade case manager, a co-teacher for ELA 9 classes, member of Guiding Coalition, and prom advisor.
