Welcome to 8th Grade Social Studies!

Hello! My name is Marci Kline.  I am the 8th grade social studies teacher in House M at Holmen Middle School.  Eighth grade curriculum includes U.S history units beginning with Colonization and ending with Reconstruction after the Civil War.  In addition, our students learn about our U.S. government as well as participate in "National History Day."  

My educational background includes doing my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in Elementary/Middle Education.  I continued with my education by achieving a Masters in Educational Professional Development through UW-L as well as my principalship license through Viterbo.  

I have three children, two which are attending college and one in high school and my husband and I live in the Holmen community.  My hobbies include coaching youth sports, reading, photography and enjoying the outdoors through camping, fishing, and gardening.
