I have been the LMC director at Prairie View Elementary since the winter of 2017.  It is important to me to develop and nurture a life-long love of reading and inquiry for my patrons.  Checking out LMC books also teaches responsibility and respect.  We regularly incorporate technology in the LMC which allows students to practice digital citizenship.

My teaching career in Holmen began in 1992 at Holmen Middle School where I taught 6th grade.  After six years I transferred to Viking Elementary where I taught a 4/5 multiage class for two years and later looped between 2nd and 3rd grade for several years.  When Prairie View Elementary opened I accepted the opportunity to teach 3rd grade. Currently I am the LMC director at Prairie View.    

I received my Bachelor of Science degree and my Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse.  I acquired my Library Science certification through the University of Oshkosh.
