Hello, My name is Maureen McCoy and I am a new teacher to the Holmen School District in the physical and health education department at the high school.  I earned my health education degree at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in 1998 and my master's degree in physical education with an outdoor adventure education emphasis in 2013.  For many years I taught in the School District of La Crosse as a substitute teacher and part-time at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in the Adventure Program and as an adjunct at Viterbo University. 

During the 2017-18 school year I taught in the Winona Public Schools teaching physical education at Jefferson Elementary and physical education and health at the Winona Area Learning Center.  

I live in La Crosse and I have three children and a husband.  We also have a farm with several animals including horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats.  We are a very active family taking care of the farm and participating in many activities.  Some of our favorites are water skiing, horseback riding, snow skiing, ice skating, gymnastics and gardening.  Our lives are never boring.

I joined the Holmen teaching staff in 2018.
