The Wisconsin Educator Effectiveness System is a learning-centered, continuous improvement system designed to improve the education of all students in the state of Wisconsin by supporting guided, individualized, self-determined professional growth and development of educators.
2024-25: Wisconsin EE System State Model to Implement Updated, Danielson Framework
for Teaching
Starting in the 2024-25 school year, the Wisconsin Educator Effectiveness (EE) System state model will be implementing the 2022 Danielson Framework for Teaching (FfT) as the framework for the evaluation of teaching. This updated framework features many improvements over the 2013 version currently in use with a focus on:
- Educational rigor and resources for all students,
- Knowing and valuing students,
- Supporting social and emotional learning,
- Authentic engagement with families and communities,
- Support for prioritization and flexibility based on local context, and
- Alignment of the structure and language of the framework.
