Elementary Grading Information

It is crucial that parents know how their children are progressing in each course.  Standards-based grading is used in all kindergarten through fifth grade classrooms.  Standards-based grading measures what a student should know, understand and be able to do at each grade level according to the standards adopted by our state. Under the standards-based system, students are graded on their achievement on class content. Work habits such as class participation and attendance are recorded separately.
