A Great Way to Start Your Student’s Morning!
Breakfast is served daily, for 30 minutes before school begins. When students arrive at school, they can come directly to the cafeteria for a healthy and nutritious meal. Breakfast features an entree, juice or fruit, and milk. Meal prices for the 2024 - 2025 school year will be charged at the regular rate unless your family has been approved for free/reduced meals.
The School District of Holmen lunch program is student friendly. At lunch, students have a choice of 2-3 main entree's. The Middle and High School's offer a fresh build your own sub line with great tasting meats, cheeses, and vegetables and a variety of whole grain breads to make your sandwich a meal. The Middle School sub line also includes great tasting healthy rice bowls. All schools feature a salad bar with lots of locally grown vegetables. Ala Carte is available at the Middle and High Schools. Students are encouraged to choose a healthy meal by taking all five items of the five components offered (one entrée, one bread/grain, up to two fruits, up to two vegetables and a milk.) It is a proven fact that students who eat nutritious meals have a higher academic success rate than those who do not. School Lunch is Cool!

For your convenience, if your student chooses ala carte items, we have a Parent Portal on Infinite Campus where you can deposit money into your students meal account (one time payments, or recurring based on remaining balance or frequency are available), if paying by check, please make them out to S.U.N. (Student Universal Nutrition Program.)
We ask that all parents/guardians ensure their students meal accounts stay positive to ensure their students can continue to charge. To aid in helping remind families, an automated email is sent when the meal account is below $10.00. Reminders are also sent daily for any account going negative.
