Nutrition Services is a department within the School district of Holmen's Support Services Division. Our ambition is to deliver services aligned with the Support Services Vision by demonstrating practices and behaviors consistent with the Support Services Mission.
Customer Service of the Highest Quality and Value
All ambitions start with a goal. The ambition to provide "Customer Service of the Highest Quality and Value" is no different. All meaningful goals should be measurable, because without measure there is no clarity on:
- the desired standard of performance when the goal is achieved
- the current status of performance
- the gap that must be closed to achieve the performance goal
Without clarity on the desired standard of performance, the current status of performance and the performance gap, there will be no meaningful improvement. As the old adage goes, "If you are not getting better you are getting worse."
The workforce performance of the School District of Holmen is measured by multiple results measures. These measures are reported out to the public each September at the School District's annual meeting in the "Annual Report" (click here to go to the Annual Report page). The "Annual Report" includes narrative descriptions including, but not limited to, the: importance of each measure, calculation methodology, variables affecting the measure, district target and district current status.
