A focus of maintenance and custodial staff is to maintain safe access to our school facilities. Snow and ice become a special focus area for our staff. We have miles of sidewalks and acres of parking lots to monitor and maintain. We will be removing snow and sanding and salting as needed at all sites during cold weather.  

Typically, the building custodial staff monitor and clean the entryways and sidewalks leading to the buildings. The maintenance staff work on the parking lots and sidewalks away from the building. If you have sidewalk/entryway concerns, please contact your custodial staff or building principal. For parking lot and sidewalks away from the building, the best way for us to receive this information is through our on-line maintenance request process.  We would ask that you use this process as much as possible. For concerns that require immediate attention, please call Deb at the TMT office. She will contact the appropriate custodian or maintenance person to respond.

I urge you to please use caution when walking to and from parking lots and on sidewalks on snowy/icy days. Please wear proper winter footwear and take your time when walking on snow covered or icy walkways. I have attached a document with tips about winter walking, and avoiding slips and falls.
